We all love fake reviews LOL especially the one that ran into the ex employee… I have been doing business with this company since 2007, I have seen my share of stores come and go through out the years but this one stays up and keeps running like the energizer bunny because of people like me that will continue to support this store and skip the so called others that just find a sucker to invest every time they close a store down. SMH. Keep throwing names of the competition it makes your review more real…hahaha…The best advise is go see and judge for yourself.

On my way home from work I wanted to visit Oasis because I know Brock. He is always friendly but I was shocked! He wasn’t there anymore according to this guy named Hector. I took a tour of the place and it was DISGUSTING!!! Everything wasn’t cleaned up and I use to stop by when Brock was there; it was decent. I looked around the place and saw 20 corals which looked the same which unfortunately were either bleached out or brown. Corals had green hair algae and who knows what other pests you might get with your purchase. I am not taking that chance to have my tank CRASH! The sales here suck too because you can’t use YOUR STORE CREDIT with any of their sales. Other shops in Tucson will permit that because they truly care for you. I ran into Brock and he told me that he quit because of the crappy hours and pay. If Hector treats his employees like CRAP what makes you think he will treat his customers any better!!! This business is heading downhill and since they lost the interest of maintaining the hobby they lost me! I stopped by a shop on Speedway and Craycroft called Fishy Biz and they have real customer service!!! What other fish store in Tucson will offer free donuts and unbelievable prices on coral, fish, and Equipment! Yes you read it right, a store that actually carries equipment! If you really want to advance in the hobby and want to talk to actual people who care for the hobby then AVOID this store! GQ is another fish store I would recommend too. Thanks for reading my review!

Oasis Tropical Fish is the worst saltwater fish store in all of southern Arizona! I was a regular customer until my last experience and Oasis will forever lose my business. To begin, associates of this store will attempt to get every cent out of your pocket in order to profit their store. The newer overweight associate does not have any knowledge of the saltwater hobby and will falsify information in order to receive a quick sale. For example I have a ten gallon fish tank and this associate told me that I was able to purchase a Blue Hippo Tang for this tank and guaranteed that this fish would be content for the rest of it’s life. Last time I checked, Blue Hippo Tangs needed room to swim! Every time I go into this store the tanks are poorly maintained; corals are bleached, fish generally look unhealthy. Secondly, I recently brought in a fish to trade and I could not believe what they wanted to give me as far as store credit. The fish that I brought in was worth as least $30. At the time the fish was stressed out and I live far away so I decided to take $6 store credit for it. While I was in the store another customer was interested in the fish and Oasis made SIX times the profit of which they bought it for. The overweight associate told me that their store will only give wholesale prices for trades in order for their store to succeed. I proceed to tell him that customer service is more important than profits. In any business it is harder to retain your current customers than to reach out for new customers. In conclusion of this review I have to say that I am truly disappointed in Oasis and would not recommend this store to anyone. The customer service you will receive if you stop by will be no more than lies and prices that are jacked up for the profit of this store. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM OASIS TROPICAL FISH AND LOOK TOWARD OTHER SALTWATER FISH STORES!!!
