We are “fish sitting” and had questions about the care of the betta that we were responsible for. As others have noted, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. On 2-8-2014 I purchased 15 assorted Mbuna cichlids to replace an online order which did not survive shipping. All are doing well and I will definitely return for any future needs even though it is a 1 hour drive each way.

My daughter and I are new to Indianapolis, and have stopped by here twice now. The shop has a lot to choose from, and everyone there seems to be pretty knowledgable. Nice selection of both fresh and saltwater, and even a few brackish. The pro’s…. great customer care, friendly staff very willing to help, not rushed, fish prices are competative. The cons… some hardware slightly overpriced, some staff although helpful, try to steer your purchase a little too much. Almost like they get a bonus for selling one product over another. I’m sure they don’t, but sometimes an agressive opinion. Overall… a great place to shop. The people there will go out of their way to take care of you. They have earned my business. Oh ya, they will also order anything for you if they don’t already have it.

I was in on 11/23/2012 and purchased a fish and a coral and a few other items it took us about 1 hour and 15 minutes one way to get there. Service is slow but they have alot to choose from. I got home and the fish destroyed my coral so we removed it. My husband called and was told bring the fish back and we will return you money. Go the next day and manager was hateful saying the employee had no right to go over him..etc. The situation wasn’t handled good at all. The employee shouldn’t have sold us that fish and the manager could have discussed his issues with the employee rather than us. We didn’t receive anything extra for our time or gas to go back over there. We are beginners so we didnt’ know about the fish. On a positive note the manager did calm down and apoligized for the whole deal. We will probably return unless we find a place that has alot also near Cincinnati because I travel that way.
